Privacy Policy
Photo Booth is a free, browser-based photo booth. This page explains what happens to your photos and any other information when you use it.
Your photos never leave your device
Every photo you take or upload, every filter, sticker, frame color, and stamp you apply, and the final strip itself are all processed entirely inside your own browser using your device’s camera and local memory. We do not upload, receive, store, or have any access to your photos or finished strips at any point. When you click “Download Strip,” the image is generated on your device and saved straight to your device’s downloads — it is never sent to our servers or anyone else’s.
What we do store
Page owners can customize a booth page through our editor — choosing frame colors, textures, stickers, and postcard stamps for visitors to use. Those customization assets (the images and settings a page owner uploads) are stored so the page can display them to visitors. This is separate from, and does not include, any photo a visitor takes or uploads while using the booth.
Cookies and analytics
We don't use tracking cookies or third-party analytics to profile individual visitors. Standard web server logs (like those any host keeps) may record basic technical information such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability purposes.
Sharing
Because we never receive your photos or strips, there is nothing of yours for us to share, sell, or hand over to third parties. Any sharing of your finished strip happens only if and when you personally choose to share the file you downloaded.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update this page. Continued use of Photo Booth after a change means you accept the updated policy.
